Senior Business Analyst

About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to create a feasible implementation roadmap for our best-in-class products that will define the world of fintech. You’ll work as part of a team in a scrum setting and must be a self‑motivated, proactive, and out‑of‑the‑box thinker.

Team

The team manages primarily European clients, with a focus area of France. You’ll work on large payment implementation projects for several French financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform gap analysis between the client’s business requirements and FIS product functionalities.
• Design solution impacts on business processes and recommend changes to improve and support business systems.
• Calculate/estimate costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions.
• Analyze and document business processes and metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Deliver working product increments to clients on time, on budget, and according to best quality standards.
• Work with product management, project manager, the client and teams to define and prioritize the product backlog.
• Engage in scrum rituals and ceremonies.
• Drive improvements in solution design, analysis and testing activities to achieve greater effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of payment schemes (SEPA classic, SEPA instant, SWIFT).
• Knowledge of business analysis principles and ratios.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer science, or information systems, or equivalent experience.
• Good technical background to understand detailed use cases.
• Knowledge of FIS payment products and services is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach.
• Willingness to share relevant knowledge and expertise with other resources.
• Ability to estimate work effort for sub‑plans or small projects and ensure successful completion.
• Fluent French and English speaking and writing.
