Antwerpen, Belgique VENUVO Temps plein 70 000 € - 100 000 € Contrat

VENUVO organises the whole journey around HVAC and sustainable energy solutions for its customers – from first advice and quote to installation and follow-up. We combine a strong operational organisation with smart technology to work faster, more efficiently and more scalably.

We are growing fast. That is why we are looking for someone to help build out our financial management and steer the next phase of growth.

You have spent a few years analysing, advising and making recommendations. Now you want to build yourself.

Closer to the business. Closer to the decisions. And above all: seeing for yourself what your work changes.

At VENUVO you work directly with the CEO and help build the financial operating model of a growing company. From forecasting and margin management to pricing, cash and procurement.

No advice from a distance. You analyse, help decide and help execute.

Your role

You become the CEO's financial right hand and sparring partner. Not someone who only reports what has happened, but someone who helps decide what we do next. You translate figures into concrete decisions and help carry those decisions out.

The core of the role is Finance & Business Performance (about 75%), complemented by Procurement (about 25%). You get a broad scope, but with a clear mission: to make VENUVO's financial management and decision-making more professional, faster and more scalable.

Where do you make the difference?

  • Plan & forecast: you build monthly and annual plans, budgets and forecasts, and make sure management sees in time where results deviate and why.
  • Understand performance: you analyse revenue, margins, profitability, capacity and costs per project, product or activity, and translate financial and operational data into clear business insights.
  • Improve profitability: you make visible where pricing, purchasing, costs or processes could be better, and help formulate concrete actions to strengthen margins and profitability.
  • Build the finance function: you help build the management reporting, dashboards, cash management, KPIs and financial processes VENUVO needs to keep scaling.
  • Procurement & suppliers: you track purchase prices, discounts and contract terms, compare suppliers and support negotiations and commercial agreements.
  • Challenge & decide: you bring facts and analysis to decision-making, dare to challenge hypotheses and proposals critically, and help set priorities.

Why is this an interesting next step?

  • From advising to building: you get the chance not only to present analyses, but to turn them into decisions, processes and results.
  • Working directly with the CEO: you are close to the most important financial and operational choices and get broad exposure across the company.
  • Understanding the whole business: you see how revenue, pricing, sales, purchasing, capacity, margin, cash and profitability fit together.
  • Plenty of responsibility, little distance: short lines mean you can test ideas quickly and see the impact of your work directly.
  • A role that can grow: as VENUVO grows and you deliver results, your responsibility can broaden towards a wider Finance & Business leadership role.
  • Builder experience: you are not stepping into a fully finished finance organisation. You get room to help shape the structure, reporting and processes yourself.

Does this sound like you?

  • A master's degree in economics or finance, or a comparable level built up through experience.
  • Preferably 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in controlling, audit, finance, consultancy or procurement.
  • Strong analytical ability and able to reduce complex information to its essence quickly.
  • Curious about what lies behind the figures and which operational factors influence results.
  • Able to translate financial insights into concrete business decisions.
  • Persuasive enough to challenge management on the basis of figures and facts.
  • A strong sense of ownership: you take the initiative and do not wait for someone to tell you what needs doing.
  • Accurate, without losing sight of the bigger business picture.
  • Comfortable in conversations about prices, terms, margins and improvement opportunities.
  • You get energy from an environment where not everything is fixed yet and where you can build structure yourself.
  • Very fluent with Excel and comfortable with financial data and digital tools.

Practicalities

  • Full-time, as an employee.
  • Hybrid working: a combination of office and working from home.
  • You work directly with the CEO and closely with Sales, Operations and other functions within VENUVO.
  • Dutch is important; French is a clear advantage.
