Payment Infrastructure & Operations Expert

As a Payment Infrastructure & Operations Expert at HR Pay Solutions, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and control of our payment infrastructure and related operational processes. Leveraging your expertise in payment systems and Core Banking platforms, you will oversee the end-to-end payment lifecycle, from payment initiation and processing through settlement and reconciliation, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our payment services.

Combining operational ownership with analytical problem-solving, you will coordinate the resolution of operational incidents, investigate complex issues, and drive continuous improvement across processes, controls, and systems. Working closely with business, technology, finance, and external partners, you will help strengthen the resilience, scalability, and quality of our payment services while supporting ongoing business growth and change initiatives.

About the role

Your mission

• Ensure a stable and efficient payment operation by monitoring end-to-end payment flows, overseeing daily payment processing, managing operational risks, and coordinating the resolution of incidents and exceptions to maintain a high level of service quality.
• Take ownership of the operational performance of the Core Banking and payments ecosystem, acting as a subject matter expert for payment processes, systems, controls, and their interdependencies across the broader payment landscape.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues and complex exceptions by analyzing transaction data, payment statuses, reconciliations, and system information, while identifying and implementing structural improvements that enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence by optimizing, standardizing, and documenting processes, controls, and ways of working, helping to reduce operational risk and increase efficiency.
• Support business growth, change initiatives, and system evolution through impact assessments, testing activities, process enhancements, and the implementation of new functionalities, operational capabilities, and system releases.

Help maintain a controlled, resilient, and compliant operating environment by supporting internal controls, operational reporting, business continuity activities, and regulatory requirements, while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.

Your profile

Who we are looking for

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field, or have built equivalent expertise through experience.
• You have experience in payments, banking operations, treasury, fintech, or a similar transaction-driven environment, and a strong affinity with payment processes, operational controls, and system-driven operations. Experience with Core Banking platforms, payment systems, process improvement, incident management, or testing is a strong asset.
• You combine a strong operational mindset with analytical thinking and a hands‑on, structured approach.
• You enjoy solving complex operational challenges, take ownership of outcomes, and maintain oversight across the end-to-end payment lifecycle. In environments where reliability, accuracy, and continuity are critical, you remain calm and solution-oriented, even when dealing with incidents, operational exceptions, or tight deadlines.
