Job Description

You will contribute to the development of advanced wireless communication solutions used in mission-critical environments, with a direct impact on our technological leadership at international level

Your Mission

As an R&D Engineer, you contribute to the development of advanced wireless communication solutions in MF and HF that position Securitas Technology as a key player in the global mission-critical communication market.

Your responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative communication solutions (hardware & software)
• Define specifications, build concepts and simulations
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ITU, IMO, NATO, ICAO, etc.)

Prototyping & Testing

• Develop and validate prototypes
• Perform verification, measurements and qualification testing
• Define and execute test plans (functional, RF, compliance)

Product Lifecycle & Documentation

• Create technical documentation (manuals, training materials, product files)
• Support product training and internal knowledge sharing
• Ensure long-term product support and lifecycle consistency

Business Support

• Collaborate with Sales & Business Development to translate customer needs into technical solutions
• Support product demonstrations and technical proposals
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners (contract manufacturers, advisors, international organizations)

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecom, or similar)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D / engineering
• Strong knowledge of radio communication and RF technologies
• Experience in hardware/software integration is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset
• Innovative and solution-oriented
• Ability to work autonomously on complex topics
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Long-term vision combined with hands-on execution
• Languages: English and Dutch or French
• Work on cutting-edge communication technologies
