Our client, a leading European insurance group specializing in trade credit, is looking for a specialist to manage the design and technical development of their claims management platform. This role involves a blend of functional configuration and technical implementation to ensure efficient claims handling and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze business requirements from claims stakeholders and translate them into functional system solutions.
- Perform system configuration and customizing for core components such as coverage determination and claim item groupings.
- Manage the implementation of reserve management, payment handling, and subrogation processes.
- Develop and modify programs using ABAP and ABAP OO to meet specific business requirements.
- Design functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
- Utilize technical components such as BAdIs and User Exits to extend system functionality.
- Execute unit and integration testing while providing necessary documentation and training.
- 3+ years of dedicated experience in implementing and supporting SAP FS-CM.
- You possess technical proficiency in ABAP and ABAP OO development within the SAP ecosystem.
- You have functional knowledge of SAP FS-PM and SAP FS-CD integration.
- You bring experience configuring Claim Process Models, Coverage Determination, and Reserve Management.
- You have a strong understanding of claims business processes in P&C, Non-Life, Health, or Auto insurance.
- You bring experience working with BAdIs, User Exits, and enhancement points.
- You're proactive and solution-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- You are fluent in English.

- Experience with SAP data models and technical debugging.
- Knowledge of interface development via Web Services or APIs.
- Knowledge of French or Dutch.
