Hectaar builds for people, with people. We are a no-nonsense project developer with a clear mission: to create affordable and quality new homes and apartments for families, singles, and investors. With a strong presence in West and East Flanders, we are expanding our growth in Flemish Brabant, Antwerp, and Hainaut. To support this growth, we are looking for a project manager for our office in Ternat.
What will you do?
- Responsible for your projects from contract signing to delivery.
- In charge of site preparation, such as requesting quotes, selecting partners, and establishing contacts with the contractor.
- Lead site meetings and maintain communication with clients, contractors, and architects.
- Monitor the execution through regular site visits and ensure smooth coordination.
- Manage project staff, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, aiming for the best value for money.
- Monitor the budget and closely follow the schedule and timing to keep everything on track.
- Ensure smooth guidance and a satisfied customer throughout the entire construction process.
- Switch smoothly between different projects and monitor deadlines.
- Act as an enthusiastic team player.
- Hold a driver’s license B.
What do we expect from you?
- Preferably, a master’s degree in construction or (industrial/civil) engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Commercial mindset and solution-oriented thinking.
- Independent and structured work style.
- Analytical strength, able to substantiate files with numbers.
- Stress-resistant, proactive, and strong in communication.
- Driven and persistent.
