KU Leuven in Belgium invites applications for a PhD position in Egyptian archaeology, focused on meat in Greco‑Roman Egypt (MeaGRE). The project combines textual and archaeological sources and collaborates with Trismegistos+, ICAG and other networks within the AKM Department.
The successful candidate will analyse inorganic and organic evidence, engage with temple inscriptions and tomb depictions, and work with a multidisciplinary team of historians, papyrologists and Egyptologists at KU Leuven.
