Our client is an international logistics organization specializing in warehousing and logistics services. To strengthen their export team, they are looking for a Freight Forwarder who will oversee the entire export process from start to finish. This role offers a varied position with a high level of responsibility within a dynamic and international environment where quality and customer satisfaction are key priorities.

Responsibilities

As a Freight Forwarder, you are responsible for the end-to-end coordination and follow-up of export shipments by seafreight. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Managing export files from A to Z for both FCL and LCL shipments;
• Maintaining daily contact with customers and proactively monitoring their shipments;
• Organizing and coordinating pre-carriage and on-carriage transport with logistics partners;
• Liaising with shipping lines for operational follow-up;
• Working closely with the customs team to ensure accurate and compliant documentation;
• Ensuring correct invoicing and administrative processing of shipments;
• Monitoring and adhering to all applicable quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Profiel kandidaat

As a Freight Forwarder, you bring the following qualifications and skills:

• Several years of experience in freight forwarding, with a strong focus on ocean freight exports;
• Fluent in English and/or Dutch;
• Comfortable working with new IT systems and logistics software;
• Able to work independently, accurately, and customer-focused;
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple files and priorities simultaneously.

• Permanent full-time contract;
