Role Overview

We are looking for a Medior SAP Integration Suite Consultant to take a technical lead role in a major integration project focused on migrating interfaces from SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI).

The consultant will be responsible for analysing existing interfaces, planning and executing migrations, designing and validating integrations, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing post-migration support.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, SAP BTP, APIs, and SAP S/4HANA, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Take a technical lead role in the migration of SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP CPI.
• Analyse and document existing SAP PI/PO interfaces.
• Identify required changes and adaptations for migration to SAP CPI.
• Evaluate architectural differences between PI/PO and CPI.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to define requirements and migration plans.
• Design, implement, and configure migrated interfaces.
• Perform comprehensive testing and validation of migrated interfaces.
• Execute end-to-end tests to ensure critical business processes continue to operate correctly.
• Diagnose and resolve technical and integration issues during migration and testing.
• Document interface modifications, configurations, and integration flows.
• Establish and promote best practices for SAP CPI development and management.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal technical and operational teams.
• Provide post-migration support and resolve incidents related to SAP CPI interfaces.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP BTP.
• Strong experience with SAP PI/PO, including:
  • Interface configuration
  • Message handling
  • Data transformations
  • Integration flow optimisation
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of API and integration concepts.
• Experience with SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI migration projects.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues within migration projects.
• Strong understanding of integration architecture and interface design.
• Experience with testing and validating complex integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and functional stakeholders.
• Ability to take technical ownership and guide integration activities.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the public transport sector.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud.
• Experience working on large-scale SAP transformation or integration programmes.
• Experience providing technical training and knowledge transfer.

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Industrial/Civil Engineering, Business/Commercial Management with strong IT knowledge, or equivalent relevant qualification.

• English: Good

Working Arrangement

• Hybrid position based in Brussels, Belgium.
• Availability to work 2–3 days onsite per week is required.
