Good command of Excel & ERP systems (SAP)

Your responsibilities

• End-to-end accounting for the Belgian entity, including AP and AR.
• Statutory compliance and filings: VAT (indirect tax) and corporate tax (direct tax), including filing timelines and supporting workings.
• Financial reporting for the Belgian entity, plus reporting to the India corporate team.
• Accounting for R&D activities and sales/warehousing operations.
• Managing the external tax consultant, the audit partner (signing partner), banking relationships and government authorities as needed.
• Commercial and finance support to internal stakeholders (R&D, sales).
• Coordinating with India for group and Indian reporting requirements, while staying compliant with Belgian law.
• Building and mentoring a team as operations scale.
• Must know French and or any other EU languages.

Experience: 10-12+ years in accounting, tax and compliance

Must Have:

• Belgian VAT and corporate tax filings
• AP, AR, financial reporting and statutory compliance
• Direct handling of the audit partner, banks, tax consultants and authorities
• Based in Belgium with EU right to work
• Onsite, no hybrid

Good to Have: subsidiary set-up experience, manufacturing or R&D exposure
