Situated in the Walloon region of Belgium, the Life Science Business Unit supports research, diagnostic, and therapeutic customers from early research through development and commercial manufacturing.
In this context, we are looking for a Life Science Business Unit Director who will be responsible for strengthening the position of the Life Science business in its existing products and services and for establishing it as a leader in identified specific markets.
The Director will lead the Business Unit’s commercial strategy and will oversee all Life Science commercial and operational activities, fostering collaboration across all departments.
The Life Science Business Unit Director is a member of Eurogentec’s Executive Committee and will report directly to its President. The position is based in Eurogentec headquarters, Seraing.
Your mission
- Define and execute the Business Unit strategy.
- Deliver profitable growth and own the P&L.
- Drive commercial development and customer relationships.
- Lead portfolio development and innovation.
- Ensure operational excellence in ISO and GMP environments.
- Build and develop a high-performing organization and leadership team.
- Lead transformation and change initiatives.
- Represent the Business Unit within the Executive Committee and with key stakeholders.
Your profile
- At least 10 years of leadership experience in life science, biotechnology or industrial environment.
- Proven experience in commercial development and business unit management.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and performance indicators.
- Fluency in English and French.
