Responsibilities

  • Plan short‑ and medium‑term production orders according to the agreed sequence and in accordance with stock levels for different departments.
  • Schedule promotions within approved volume and target dates.
  • Review missing components in the short term with procurement officers.
  • Execute priorities in case of issues: late deliveries, supplier capacity, breakdowns, and other disruptions.
  • Prepare all needed documentation for production in time.
  • Communicate with Customer Service and Dispatching around shortages.
  • Measure and evaluate conformance to schedule, discuss with relevant departments and agree on corrective actions.
  • Schedule planned downtime with the site Operations team.
  • Communicate all changes to the schedule in a timely manner.
  • Schedule production orders for subcontractors.
  • Assure on‑time launches of new products in cooperation with Master Data & Life Cycle Officer and Commercial Teams.
  • Fill in CSL‑report.
  • Check planning parameters in SAP and adapt where needed (push, safety stock, minimum order quantity, lot sizes).
  • Communicate with Customer Service and/or Team Leader about possible issues in delivery.
  • Communicate with Production Manager and/or Team Leader regarding staff requirements to meet the plan (short term).
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, discussing issues (e.g., call‑off delays, production breakdowns, quality issues) with the different parties involved and finding solutions.
  • Assure continuity of the department by backing up other functions where applicable.

Skills and Education

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a similar job.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
