We are looking for a Project Engineer for an industrial company specialized in high-value plastic injection molding, with more than 30 years of experience manufacturing components for the automotive industry and operating as part of an international group.

As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for managing automotive projects from product and process development through to industrialization and serial production.

You will act as the central point of contact between customers, suppliers, and internal departments, ensuring that projects are delivered according to quality, budget, and timing objectives.

The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and strong technical understanding of plastic injection molding processes and industrialization activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects throughout the complete development lifecycle, from concept and design phase to industrialization and production launch.
  • Define, monitor, and update project plans, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities involving Engineering, Tooling, Quality, Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales.
  • Organize and lead project meetings with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
  • Support the selection and validation of materials, components, and technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, timing plans, and technical reports.
  • Act as the primary interface for customers and suppliers during project execution.
  • Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor project KPIs and prepare management reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and automotive quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to products, processes, and project management practices.
