Brussel Hoofdstad, Belgique HumanInTech Temps plein 65 000 € - 85 000 € Contrat

What you will do

You will work as a business analyst within a traffic safety technology programme at a Belgian public-sector organisation. Your main focus will be on analysing the integration between dynamic speed signs and fixed speed cameras, mapping the current server infrastructure, camera systems and software solutions, and helping to design the future state.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that requirements and standards are clearly documented for traffic safety initiatives
  • Developing and documenting processes to enable a smooth transition to the operational team
  • Identifying tasks, dependencies and risks across the programme
  • Reporting progress to stakeholders: status, issues, bottlenecks, risks and proposed mitigations
  • Setting up and maintaining quality management plans to ensure deliverables meet required standards
  • Documenting information in a structured way to anchor and transfer knowledge
  • Working out detailed technical and functional design documents
  • Contributing to data protection impact assessments and risk analyses
  • Managing stakeholder relationships with internal teams and external partners

You will also contribute to long-term vision work, considering future capacity needs, new technologies and integration with other systems. You will stay informed about developments in sensor technology and relevant legislation, particularly around privacy and data protection.

You will work closely with project managers, core users, IT architects, data experts, functional analysts and software engineers. The role requires strong technical insight and an advisory, facilitating approach towards both management and operational teams.
