BMS Engineer | Antwerp, Belgium

Up to €5000 Gross Per Month

Your responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and inspections on building-related climate and control systems.
  • Systematically test, check, calibrate, and adjust installations.
  • Diagnose technical faults using appropriate software and diagnostic tools.
  • Repair or replace components when required.
  • Make minor software and configuration adjustments.
  • Commission new, upgraded, or modified installations.
  • Prepare service activities and coordinate technical work with colleagues.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding technical issues and proposed solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, or efficiency.
  • Recognize potential additional technical requirements and communicate these internally.
  • Contribute ideas for improving installations, services, processes, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

What you bring:

  • MBO level 3 or 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Measurement & Control Technology, or a comparable discipline.
  • Relevant experience in technical service, maintenance, commissioning, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with building services, HVAC systems, automation, measurement and control technology, or similar installations is an advantage.
  • Relevant safety certifications are desirable, or you are willing to obtain them.
  • A practical, analytical, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Customer-focused and comfortable working independently.
  • Flexible and willing to travel to customer locations.
