The Laboratory of Developmental Biology and Disease Models, with Máximo Ibo Galindo as Principal Investigator (PI) and group leader, has obtained funding to carry out the study "New CDD models in Drosophila", financed by the Loulou Foundation. In this project, models of CDKL5 deficiency syndrome in Drosophila melanogaster will be generated and characterized. The contracted person will collaborate in the following tasks:
- Carrying out Drosophila crosses and maintenance of the strain collection.
- Preparation of culture media for Drosophila and general reagents for the laboratory.
- Molecular Biology Techniques: DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, electrophoresis, cloning.
