We are looking for a Digital Technology Lead Data Enablement - Master Data who is curious, innovative, and collaborative to join us in our Digital Technology and Data team, based in our HQ in Anderlecht, Belgium.

About the role

As Digital Technology Lead Data Enablement - Master Data, you will define and lead the future vision for enterprise master data capabilities. You will combine strategy, technology leadership, product thinking, and innovation to make high-quality data easier to access, govern, and use. Working at the intersection of data, artificial intelligence, architecture, and business transformation, you will help deliver scalable solutions that create measurable value for the business and ultimately support better outcomes for patients.

Who you’ll work with

You will be working in a team that partners closely with global data governance leaders, business stakeholders, enterprise architects, engineers, data scientists, and technology partners. Together, you will shape the future of enterprise data management, ensuring trusted data can be effectively used across research, manufacturing, commercial operations, analytics, and artificial intelligence initiatives. You will also collaborate with external partners and technology vendors to bring innovative solutions into the organization.

What you’ll do

  • Define and drive a multi-year strategy for enterprise master data capabilities, translating business and governance needs into a clear technology roadmap
  • Explore and implement innovative solutions using artificial intelligence, automation, knowledge graphs, and semantic technologies to improve data quality, usability, and value
  • Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise data platforms, ensuring reliable, scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions
  • Establish architecture and integration patterns that enable trusted data to flow seamlessly across operational systems, analytics platforms, and artificial intelligence use cases
  • Partner with business and data governance teams to implement effective stewardship, data quality, lineage, privacy, and compliance capabilities
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and external partners, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Define and track success measures, including data quality, user adoption, operational efficiency, and business value realization

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • At least 6 years of experience leading enterprise data, digital platform, data management, or artificial intelligence initiatives with demonstrated business impact
  • Strong understanding of master data, reference data, data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, integration, and modern data platform concepts
  • Experience evaluating or applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligent automation, semantic technologies, or knowledge graph solutions in complex environments
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking, enterprise architecture, product leadership, innovation, and hands‑on delivery
  • Experience working in regulated environments and implementing technology controls supporting privacy, security, compliance, and responsible artificial intelligence practices
  • Familiarity with enterprise data management and governance platforms, cloud ecosystems, and modern data architecture approaches
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, communicate complex concepts clearly, and lead cross‑functional teams through transformational change
