MES Engineer

We are currently looking for a MES Engineer to join our team.

You will work closely with Manufacturing, Automation, IT, Validation, and Quality teams to develop and improve electronic manufacturing processes, supporting the digital transformation of production operations.

This role offers the opportunity to participate in innovative automation projects, implement electronic batch records, and contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain MES solutions supporting manufacturing operations.
• Develop and optimize Electronic Batch Records (eBR/eMBR).
• Gather business requirements and translate them into MES functional specifications.
• Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Automation, IT, and Quality departments.
• Support MES deployment, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.
• Execute and support system testing activities, including FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ when required.
• Troubleshoot MES-related issues and provide technical support to end users.
• Ensure MES applications comply with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to digitalization and paperless manufacturing initiatives.
• Participate in change control, deviation investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and training materials.
• Support data integrity and system integration activities with ERP, LIMS, SCADA, and other manufacturing systems.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Experience with PAS-X
• Knowledge of GMP requirements and computerized systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.
