At Eni, we are looking for a Treasury Assistantto join Banque Eni S.A. in Brussels. The role reports to the Head of Treasury and involves supporting treasury dealers in their daily activities.

Banque Eni S.A., an Eni company, is authorized to provide banking services with a full banking license granted by the National Bank of Belgium. Incorporated in 2006 in Brussels, Banque Eni offers comprehensive financial services to Eni and its subsidiaries worldwide, including: cash management; payments and collections in over 34 currencies; settlement and clearing of financial operations; cash pooling; portfolio management; investment advice; safekeeping and clearing of securities; and treasury services. Banque Eni maintains a robust system for compliance with international anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations, and its operations predominantly cover European and US markets.

Main responsibilities

• Foreign Exchange Market
  • Execute currency exchanges requested by clients (primarily spot transactions, with some derivatives such as outrights and swaps).
  • Carry out hedging operations.
  • Monitor market indicators (e.g., key meetings, interest rate forecasts, etc.).
• Securities Market
  • Manage Banque Eni’s portfolio (e.g., security searches, investment proposals).
  • Manage Eni Insurance’s portfolio (same as above).
  • Prepare reports on currency portfolios.
• General Responsibilities
  • Monitor internal account movements.
  • Track and respond to emails and requests.
  • Address inquiries from the back office.

Skills and experience required

• Education: Master’s degree in Economic Sciences or Finance.
• Experience: 0–2 years (preferably in banking or finance).
• Languages: Fluent in French and English. Italian is considered an advantage.
• Software: Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters.
• Proactive, dynamic and positive attitude.
• Autonomous and self-motivated.
• Ability to manage priorities and remain calm under pressure.
