Talencia is looking for an experienced senior Data Analyst for one of its banking clients in brussels.

Location: Brussels

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months + extension, potentially until end of 2027

Working Mode: Hybrid / partially remote

Languages: English + French or Dutch

Sector: Banking - mandatory

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will join a banking data team and play a key role in transforming complex datasets into reliable business insights.

This is a strongly technical Data Analyst position, with a major focus on SQL development, data extraction and database modelling.

SQL Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, clean and analyze large volumes of financial and customer data.
Data Modelling: Design, develop and maintain relational and dimensional data models adapted to banking requirements.
Database Analysis: Analyze existing database structures, identify data relationships and ensure data quality and consistency.
Data Analysis: Investigate complex datasets and translate them into meaningful business insights.
Business Intelligence: Translate business requirements into relevant analyses, reports and dashboards for both management and operational teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate findings clearly.
Data Storytelling: Present complex data and analytical results in a clear and accessible way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
