We're looking for an experienced RPG Analyst Developer to support our client in maintaining and evolving their custom ERP system built on the IBM AS/400 iSeries platform. This ERP solution plays a central role in the day-to-day operations of a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes in collaboration with key users and translate them into efficient technical RPG solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize RPG applications on the AS/400 iSeries system, tailored to support critical ERP functionalities.
- Ensure software reliability, performance, and integration within the broader production landscape.
- Participate in system design discussions and proactively identify areas for improvement or automation.
- Provide technical documentation and support testing, rollout, and post-implementation activities.
Your Profile
- Strong medior or senior-level expertise in RPG (RPG III, RPG IV, RPG ILE).
- Background in working with ERP systems: preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or inventory management contexts.
- In-depth technical knowledge of IBM AS/400 iSeries.
- Excellent analytical thinking and the ability to convert functional requirements into scalable code.
- Comfortable working autonomously as well as within cross-functional teams.
Other Requirements
- Fluency in Dutch is required.
- Able to work onsite at client's premises (EU Citizenship is required).
