BIM Collaborator - Building Services (Ghent and / or Roeselare)

As a BIM Collaborator within our Building Services department, you will play a key role in the technical design and development of our projects. You will translate technical concepts into accurate BIM models and executable drawings, acting as an essential link between design, engineering, and construction. You will work closely with the Project Engineer within the Building Services team.

Thanks to your technical expertise and attention to detail, you will contribute to sustainable, efficient, and integrated solutions for complex construction projects. You will collaborate closely with project engineers and colleagues from various disciplines and have the opportunity to work on challenging projects where innovation and quality are at the core.

Your Role

  • Contribute to the design of building services installations within your projects.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear 3D BIM models and technical drawings during the design phase of building services engineering.
  • Prepare detailed design and tender documentation, including bills of quantities and technical calculations such as pipe sizing and electrical load calculations.
  • Work closely with project engineers and colleagues within your team to deliver high‑quality, integrated technical solutions.

Your Profile

  • You combine technical expertise, accuracy, and collaboration with ease.
  • You hold a technical degree (Bachelor’s in Electromechanics, HVAC, or a related field) or have acquired equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience on medium‑sized or large‑scale projects.
  • You have a solid knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • You have an excellent command of Dutch; knowledge of English and/or French is considered an asset.
  • You have strong communication skills, a solution‑oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to develop well‑considered solutions.
