Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage
- Develop and optimize processes to ensure high-quality data availability for analytics and machine learning
- Collaborate with different stakeholders (data scientists, data analysts, product owners, etc.) to enable seamless data access and integration for advanced analytics
- Implement and manage data warehousing solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity
- Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and manage data infrastructure
- Automate data workflows and implement CI/CD practices for data engineering processes
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance across all data systems
- Document data architectures, processes, and solutions for maintainability and knowledge sharing
- Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and tools to continuously improve data engineering practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
- Able to use data automation tools (Databricks, MS Fabric)
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data security best practices
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data processing for performance and scalability
- Fluent in FR or NL + strong command of English
- Passion for building robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions
