As a Project Engineer Energy, you are responsible for the technical development, coordination and follow-up of electrical projects. You form the link between the client, internal design teams, project staff, production and other parties involved.

You work on projects within a technically complex environment, including in the context of energy infrastructure and the further electrification of industrial applications.

Your responsibilities include:

You manage and supervise electrotechnical projects for clients in the industry.
You analyse the technical specifications, needs and expectations of the client.
You design electrical installations and systems based on client specifications and project requirements.
You are responsible for the dimensioning of low-voltage switchgear and electrical installations.
You develop electrical designs using Caneco BT or other relevant software for electrical dimensioning.
You take into account applicable technical standards, legal regulations and safety requirements.
You collaborate with electrical and mechanical draughtsmen in drawing up and checking electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
You monitor the complete project trajectory: from design and validation to ordering, production, testing and commissioning.
You plan, organise and coordinate electrical projects.
You safeguard the timing, quality and predetermined budget.
You coordinate the teams involved, technical resources and project activities.
You maintain clear communication with clients, internal staff, suppliers and other stakeholders.
You support testing in the workshop and technical commissioning in collaboration with the client.
You report on technical progress and make adjustments where necessary.

Thanks to your oversight and technical knowledge, you ensure that projects are carried out efficiently, to a high standard and in accordance with agreed arrangements. Voor deze functie van Project Engineer Energy zoeken we een technisch onderlegd en communicatief sterk profiel met:

Een diploma in elektromechanica, elektriciteit of een gelijkwaardige technische opleiding.
Relevante ervaring in elektrisch projectmanagement, elektrisch ontwerp of een vergelijkbare technische functie.
Een bewezen expertise in elektrische dimensionering en het gebruik van Caneco BT of gelijkaardige software.
Een goede kennis van elektrische installaties en laagspanningsverdeling.
Inzicht in hoogspanning en de toepassing ervan binnen technische projecten.
Ervaring met het interpreteren en controleren van elektrische schema’s en technische tekeningen.
Een gestructureerde en resultaatgerichte aanpak.
Sterke organisatorische vaardigheden en het vermogen om meerdere projecten tegelijk op te volgen.
Goede communicatieve vaardigheden om vlot samen te werken met multidisciplinaire teams en klanten.
Een goede kennis van het Nederlands, het Frans en het Engels.
Een zelfstandige werkhouding, gecombineerd met een sterke teamgeest.
Kennis van UPS-installaties en BESS-toepassingen vormt een extra troef.
