Independently detecting and solving faults, and working with the latest high-tech developments, that is what energises you as a service technician at KNAPP Benelux In Vilvoorde, you will work in a small team with one other colleague, but you will also work closely with the customer’s technicians. You also get the space to develop further, both technically and personally. Will you become our new colleague?

As a service technician, you will have a versatile and challenging role in which you will be responsible for maintaining our automated warehouse system. On a daily basis you will be responsible for:

Maintain and repair our advanced installations (60% mechanical, 40% electrical) on site, including storage and picking systems and countless kilometers of conveyors.
Inventory, identify and solve(technical) problems and optimize equipment.
Acting as a recognizable first point of contact for the customer and making the right considerations between the customer’s interests and those of KNAPP;
Contributing to a positive climate and ensuring good cooperation.
Continuous learning and development, both technical and personal, to get the best out of yourself every day and grow into the role that suits you perfectly.

In total, we work in the Benelux with a team of 130 people and this will continue to grow in the coming years You will be working in a small team, but you will also have plenty of contact with colleagues from other locations. At KNAPP, you can easily make contact with various colleagues, both on the work floor and at head office.

We would like to get in touch with you if you have a passion for technology and would like to use your knowledge and talents in our high-tech environment. To do so, you will bring the following:

A tso level in the direction of mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering.
Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a similar role;
Strong communication skills in French, English, Dutch is a plus;
Flexibility and willingness to work outside normal working hours;
Curiosity and proactivity, you take the lead when problems arise and work with others to find solutions.

What we offer

A challenging position within a successful international family business, where there is room for own initiative and professional development.
A salary between EUR 3.000 and EUR 3.500 (based on fulltime), with growth potential up to EUR 4.200, depending on your experience and performance.
Excellent working conditions, including:
