Brussels / Diegem, Belgium Future Placement Role: Industrial Gases Supply Chain Analyst Are you a recent Master's graduate with a passion for analytics, optimization, and solving complex business challenges? Join our Role-Ready Graduate Program and develop the skills, experience, and industry knowledge needed to become an Industrial Gases Supply Chain Analyst within our European Supply Chain organization. As part of our Central Supply Chain Analysis Team, you will follow a structured development journey designed to prepare you for a future role supporting the optimization of our Industrial Gases supply chain across Europe. Through hands-on projects, coaching from experienced professionals, and increasing levels of responsibility, you will gain exposure to strategic decision-making, operational excellence, and advanced analytical techniques.
You will contribute to improving the performance of our Packaged Gases, Liquid Bulk, and Microbulk distribution networks while working closely with supply chain, operations, logistics, commercial, and retail teams across multiple countries.What You Will DoAs a Graduate Supply Chain Analyst, you will:
* Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, trends, and improvement opportunities.
* Support optimization projects and progressively take ownership of defined initiatives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, operations, commercial, and customer-facing functions.
* Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting, and performance-monitoring tools.
* Build expertise in scenario modelling and cost-benefit analysis to support business decisions.
* Contribute to productivity programs and continuous improvement workshops.
* Gain practical experience with mathematical optimization techniques alongside IT teams and subject matter experts.
* Support the development and enhancement of analytical tools used for network and operational optimization.
* Assist in assessing supply chain practices against regulatory and sustainability requirements.
* Prepare analyses, presentations, and recommendations for senior stakeholders. What You Will LearnDuring the program, you will develop expertise in:
* Industrial Gases supply chain operations and distribution networks
* Supply chain analytics and performance reporting using tools such as Python and Qlik Sense
* Scenario modelling and business case development
* Productivity program design and implementation
* Cross-functional stakeholder management
* Presentation and communication of analytical recommendations
* Leading and independently managing supply chain optimization initiatives Who We Are Looking ForWe are seeking ambitious graduates who are eager to learn, grow, and make a measurable impact on business performance. Qualifications & Skills* Master's degree in Business Engineering, Engineering, Business Economics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field.
* Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities.
* Genuine interest in supply chain optimization and data-driven decision-making.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Interest in developing expertise in data visualization and analytical tools such as Python and Qlik Sense.
* Knowledge of Python and data science techniques such as machine learning, analytics, simulation or optimisation is an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
* Proactive, curious, and self-motivated mindset.
* Ability to work effectively with teams across different functions and countries.
* Fluent in English; additional European language skills are considered a plus.
