VIB is seeking a Research Metadata Specialist to describe, connect and exchange life-science data across VIB’s platforms and external repositories. You will link datasets to samples, experiments and publications, making information machine-readable and reusable.
Working with researchers, data stewards and developers, you design metadata models, mappings and validation rules, and help automate workflows. The role is based in Ghent with flexible hybrid working and occasional travel.
