Join ABB Robotics and play a key role in accelerating the adoption of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions across the Benelux region. Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs AMR Sales Expert for Benelux, you will be responsible for driving the growth of ABB's Autonomous Mobile Robot business across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. You will act as the regional AMR subject matter expert, combining technical knowledge, consultative selling, and business development to identify, develop, and close new opportunities.
Working closely with local Robotics sales teams, Global AMR Solution Centers, Key Account Managers, Business Line Managers, and system integration partners, you will support customers in their automation journey and help ABB achieve sustainable growth in the fast-growing mobile robotics market.
Main AccountabilitiesLead the commercial growth of ABB's AMR portfolio across the Benelux region.
Develop and execute a regional AMR growth strategy aligned with ABB Robotics objectives.
Identify, qualify, and develop new AMR opportunities with end-users, integrators, and strategic partners.
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve order and revenue targets.
Act as the trusted advisor for customers evaluating mobile robotics and intralogistics automation solutions.
Conduct customer workshops, site assessments, solution discussions, and business case evaluations.
Support local sales teams with AMR product, application, and market expertise.
Develop and strengthen relationships with system integrators, distributors, and technology partners.
Prepare customer proposals, presentations, and commercial offers in cooperation with application engineers and global experts.
Collaborate with the Global AMR Solution Center to ensure successful solution development and deployment.
Support demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, pilot projects, and customer visits.
Gather market intelligence and provide customer feedback to support future product development and go-to-market strategies.
Represent ABB at industry events, trade fairs, customer seminars, and networking activities.
Act as ambassador for ABB's AMR portfolio within the Robotics organization and the wider ABB ecosystem.
Qualifications for the RoleEducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, business development, automation, robotics, intralogistics, material handling, or industrial solutions.
Proven track record in B2B solution selling and business development.
Experience working with end-users, system integrators, and industrial customers.
Experience in robotics, AMRs, AGVs, warehouse automation, or logistics automation is strongly preferred.
Technical KnowledgeUnderstanding of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), robotics automation, and material handling systems.
Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
Familiarity with industrial automation and digitalization trends.
Ability to translate customer challenges into technical and commercial solutions.
Personal CompetenciesStrong commercial drive and entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong relationship-building and networking capabilities.
