We're looking for a PostgreSQL database administrator to design and maintain secure, reliable databases. You'll combine database operations with Python backend development and data integration.
What you'll do
- Maintain PostgreSQL backups, restores, monitoring and performance tuning.
- Design database structures and data synchronisation mechanisms.
- Integrate Python backends with PostgreSQL.
- Build and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Support development projects with tailored database solutions.
- Define technical standards and document database procedures.
What you bring
- Experience in database administration, backend development and data integration.
- Linux proficiency and REST webservices experience.
- GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Elastic Stack for monitoring and logging.
- Experience with NoSQL, key-value, document and vector databases.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, or equivalent experience.
- A methodical, precise approach, autonomy and initiative.
- Adaptability, creativity and constructive problem-solving.
- Teamwork and the ability to work under pressure.
- Dutch or French, native, with passive understanding of the other language.
- English, B2.

- Active command of both Dutch and French.
Good to know
- 40-hour working week, with flexibility over working hours.
