What does your role involve?

• As Senior Project Manager Buildings you take overall charge of complex renovation and restoration projects in the province of East Flanders, from preparation and concept phase through to handover.
• Project planning takes shape under your direction: you align staff, materials, subcontractors and suppliers so that every site progresses in a manageable and efficient way.
• You coach project managers, foremen and operational staff, provide clear direction and create the conditions in which expertise and responsibility can grow.
• You monitor quality, safety, timing and budget closely. By intervening in a timely manner, you limit risks and deliver results on which clients and colleagues can rely.
• As the central point of contact you maintain professional client relationships, chair site meetings and represent the organisation with construction partners, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Financial follow-up is also part of your responsibility: you manage budgets and profitability, compare prices, negotiate terms and monitor progress statements and reporting.
• You keep project administration and technical documentation in order and coordinate the overarching planning within your area of work.
• With your experience as a project manager you recognise opportunities for alternative working methods, energy-efficient renovations and new techniques that make execution safer, more efficient or more sustainable. Wie ben jij?

• Een masterdiploma in een bouwkundige richting vormt een goede basis voor deze functie.
• Een gelijkwaardige combinatie van opleiding en relevante ervaring kan eveneens aansluiten.
• Je brengt minstens 7 jaar ervaring mee als projectleider binnen bouw, renovatie of restauratie en bent vertrouwd met de coördinatie van meerdere complexe werven.
• Technisch inzicht combineer je met een sterk organisatorisch vermogen: je behoudt overzicht, stelt prioriteiten en vertaalt plannen naar concrete acties op de werf.
• Heldere communicatie en rustig leiderschap zijn belangrijk, omdat je verschillende teams en partners op één lijn brengt, feedback geeft en draagvlak creëert voor beslissingen.
• Je werkt verantwoordelijk en vooruitdenkend.
• Veiligheid, kwaliteit, planning en financiële controle vormen voor jou de basis, terwijl je tegelijk openstaat voor verbetering en innovatie.
