Do you want to make data truly work? At adesso, we are looking for Data Engineers who know how to translate complex data issues into scalable, efficient solutions. Someone who embraces cloud technology, but also understands that good data solutions start with understanding the process behind the numbers.
As a Snowflake Data Engineer at adesso, you design and build modern data platforms on top of the Snowflake Data Cloud. You will develop robust, scalable and cost‑efficient data pipelines and data models that enable our clients to become truly data‑driven.
You will be part of the growing Data & AI team in Belgium, collaborating with colleagues in the Netherlands and across Europe. You’ll combine the impact and entrepreneurship of a young local practice with the stability, client base and expertise of an established international group.

Design & build Snowflake‑based data platforms
- Design and implement data warehouse / Lakehouse architectureson Snowflake in a major cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).
- Build reliable batch (and where relevant streaming) data pipelinesto ingest and transform data into Snowflake.
- Model data for analytics and reporting (star schema, data marts, curated layers).
Ingest, transform & optimize data
- Ingest data from various sources (files, APIs, relational databases, SaaS systems) into Snowflake using tools such as Snowpipe, tasks, streams, external stagesor external orchestration tools.
- Implement clear, testable and reusable transformation logic using SQL, stored procedures, dbt or similar frameworks.
- Optimize queries, warehouses and storage for performance and cost(clustering, pruning, caching, warehouses sizing).
