Onsite Delivery Engineer, East and West Flanders region

Who are you in our On IT story?
Do you enjoy being on the go and find satisfaction in solving IT problems for clients? As an Onsite Delivery Engineer, you’ll combine technical expertise, variety, and a customer-first approach in one dynamic role. No two days are the same—you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly, quickly, and professionally, both on-site and behind the scenes.
Daily customer support tasks:
- Conduct 3 to 4 client appointments per day
- Installing and configuring laptops, workstations, and peripherals
- Assisting end users with their first login and testing functionality
- Picking up and delivering IT equipment from warehouse locations (e.g., Malle, Zedelgem)
- Installing basic network components such as switches, access points, and firewalls (pre-configured by colleagues)
- Collecting and returning defective equipment or completed installations
On-site technical support
- Performing basic to more extensive technical interventions
- Resolving common problems and malfunctions
- Consulting with internal support or escalation points via phone for more complex issues
- Documenting actions taken and providing feedback to the support team
Office-based support
- Preparing installations and materials
- Patching and configuring laptops or hardware
- Assisting with service desk escalations
- Supporting other IT teams as needed
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- You have a degree in an IT-related field or have gained equivalent experience.
- This position is also ideal for internal IT professionals who are looking to transition into a more customer-focused, varied role on-site.
Technical Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of network installations (switches, access points, firewalls)
- Experience with patching and installing laptops
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune is a plus
- Analytical thinking skills to quickly assess situations and solve problems
