To optimally manage our growing portfolio in Belgium, we’re looking for a Service Technician who makes a difference in the field.
As a Service Technician, you’ll be part of the Operations & Maintenance team and responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial solar installations at customer sites in the Bruges region. You’ll work independently on-site. For complex technical issues, you can always rely on your colleagues on the O&M team.
Your key responsibilities:
- You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial solar installations at B2B customers’ sites.
- You diagnose and repair malfunctions on-site. You replace defective inverters, solar panels, and other components.
- You’ll conduct technical inspections using measurements, a thermal camera, and a drone, and report your findings via the app.
- You will bring systems back online and resolve monitoring issues.
- You manage your schedule and administrative reporting independently via the company app and drive directly to the customer each day in a fully equipped company vehicle.
- hold an A2/A1 diploma in (Electro)Mechanics or Electrical Engineering, or have completed equivalent training.
- hold a Class B driver’s license.
- are familiar with electrical installations and measurements.
- have a good command of Dutch. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- work independently on-site and take ownership of your assignments.
- You systematically analyze technical problems and solve them in a goal-oriented manner.
- You work accurately and document completed work correctly.
- Do you already have experience with solar installations? Then you’ll have an added advantage.
