System Engineer Packaging
Location: Brussels, Belgium
On-site: Primarily on-site presence required

Overview
We are looking for a senior System Engineer Packaging to manage and maintain the technical applications used for diagnostics and maintenance of various train types. The role focuses on software packaging, deployment, endpoint management, and infrastructure support within a large-scale enterprise environment with more than 100,000 endpoints and 1,000+ software applications.
Key Responsibilities
Package, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software solutions.
Manage the lifecycle of packaged applications across the environment.
Design and implement infrastructure and endpoint-related technical solutions.
Perform upgrades, migrations, deployments, and infrastructure enhancements.
Conduct technical feasibility studies and propose optimal solutions.
Ensure platform stability, security, and compliance with ITIL processes.
Provide 3rd line support and participate in on-call activities if required.
Act as a technical expert and advisor towards internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge with teams.
Required Experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Software Packaging, Endpoint Management, or System Engineering.
Proven experience in enterprise environments with:
100,000+ endpoints
1,000+ managed software applications
Strong experience with software packaging and deployment technologies.
MCSA, MCSE, MCSD or equivalent Microsoft certification.
