Electronics Technician

We have developed a disruptive and patented powertrain technology for electric bikes that combines an automatic gearbox within a powerful all-in-one solution, offering cyclists unprecedented comfort, robustness, and performance. With our recent partnership with Decathlon, we aim to become a global leader in eBike motor technology within the next decade.

We launched our first-generation motors and are currently developing our second-generation drive units. We are therefore expanding our team to ensure the continuous evolution of our products. Our team is based in Wavre, near Brussels, and consists of 35 passionate and driven professionals.

To support our growth, we are seeking an Electronics Technician with expertise in transmissions development.

What will be your role?

We are looking for an electronics technician. You will be in charge of supporting prototyping needs for the electronics R&D development team.

Your role will be to prepare, fix and modify PCBs, manage stock and inventory, and manage the electronics workshop. Support will also be provided to the other teams by preparing and maintaining test equipment, and running bench tests.

You will also have the opportunity to learn more about PCBs design and manufacturing, and develop skills in these domains.

What will be your main responsibilities?

• Ensuring the availability of prototyping parts for our drive unit or eKit parts.
• Ensuring the good working condition and availability of the electronics workshop
• Perform quality checks on received components like PCBA, cables, batteries, HMI, etc.
• Support electrical R&D prototyping needs, including tests on specialized benches

What is your profile?

• You have a professional bachelor in electronics or related field
• You speak English, French is nice to have
• You have hands-on experience in DC electronics, either professional or as a hobbyist
• You have some basic knowledge of software and mechanical systems
• You are autonomous and well organized
• You are a tech enthusiast and have scientific curiosity
