This is a highly specialized engineering role focused on keg platforms, draught systems and Bottle-in-Bottle technologies. You’ll work on everything from developing new keg concepts and validating packaging solutions to improving filling, dispensing and consumer experience across our global brewery network.
You’ll collaborate with experts across Packaging, Brewing, Quality, Supply and external technology partners to bring innovative packaging solutions from concept to industrial implementation.

What you’ll do
As the technical expert for our keg and draught packaging platforms, you’ll drive innovation from concept through industrial implementation.
You’ll:
Lead the development of returnable keg, PerfectDraft and Bottle-in-Bottle packaging platforms.
Develop new keg systems and packaging concepts that improve product quality, freshness, sustainability and operational performance.
Design and optimize the interface between packaging, filling equipment and dispense systems.
Validate new packaging solutions, suppliers and manufacturing processes before global implementation.
Support brewery trials and industrial validation on production lines, ensuring reliable and scalable solutions.
Work closely with suppliers and equipment manufacturers to develop next-generation packaging technologies.
Contribute to the development of innovative draught solutions, including new dispense platforms supporting emerging product categories such as no- and low-alcohol beers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Packaging, Brewing, Draft Systems, Quality and Supply to deliver global innovation projects.
Contribute to intellectual property and future platform development.
This role combines innovation (approximately 50%) with validation and industrial implementation (approximately 50%), ensuring new technologies successfully reach our breweries.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who already has hands‑on experience within the world of keg, draught or beverage container systems.
You have:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
At least 5 years of experience developing or engineering keg systems, draught packaging systems or beverage container technologies.
Experience working with filling, dispensing or packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Strong engineering skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into robust industrial solutions.
Experience working with suppliers, equipment manufacturers and cross-functional engineering teams.
Fluency in English.
You have experience with horeca/on-trade draught dispense systems, this is a strong asset for the role. Experience with keg technologies, pressure vessels, hygienic design, or Bottle-in-Bottle packaging (including plastic blow moulding, extrusion and polymer packaging development) is also highly valued.
As this role supports brewery trials and packaging validation, you’re comfortable travelling regularly to our breweries and suppliers. This typically includes visits to our production site in Dommelen (The Netherlands) several times per month, as well as occasional travel to other locations such as the UK.
