We are looking for a Frontend Web Developer to join a major web application development project involving the creation of a modern Case Management System.
You will contribute to the development of a highly available and scalable web solution based on a microservices and micro-frontend architecture, using modern web technologies and an agile Scrum methodology.
As a Frontend specialist, you will play a key role in designing and developing a modular web application, integrating backend services and implementing user interfaces based on UX/UI designs.
Main Responsibilities
- Understand the existing solution and become familiar with the business environment.
- Integrate backend services to retrieve, store and modify data used by the frontend application.
- Model application entities while following data standardization best practices.
- Develop user interfaces based on UX/UI designs using a modular approach.
- Develop and maintain Single Page Applications (SPA).
- Implement unit and integration tests on the frontend.
- Manage source code using Git and participate in pull requests and code reviews.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Develop solutions using Angular, Module Federation, NX and RxJS.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OpenID Connect and OAuth2.
- Work with REST APIs and integrate frontend applications with backend services.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
- Adapt development work to changing technical requirements and project priorities.
- Maintain and continuously improve the application.
- Monitor technological developments and contribute to the implementation of new features and modules.
Required Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in frontend or application development.
- Strong experience developing web applications and SPAs with Angular.
- Experience with Micro-Frontend architecture and Module Federation.
- Good knowledge of Clean Architecture principles.
- Strong understanding of OpenID Connect and OAuth2 for frontend authentication and authorization.
- Experience with Git, GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL is required.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and changing technical directions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Active knowledge of English and either French or Dutch.
