About Us

Soccer Stars is the leading youth sports program for children ages 12 months to 13 years in Long Island and Eastern Queens. Our acclaimed program provides an energetic, enjoyable, and age‑suitable introduction to the fantastic game of soccer by providing classes, camps, and clinics held in schools, community centers, and local parks. We take pride in our creative curriculum, which focuses not only on soccer skills but also on fostering social skills and character development, creating a positive and lasting impact on every child we coach. We also offer multisport programs as well as non‑contact martial arts programs

Schedule

• "
• Weekdays: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM"
• Weekends: 8:30 AM–1:30 PM, 2:00 PM–5:30 PM"

Responsibilities

• "
• Show up on time for every class to set themselves up for success."
• Use individual attention to ensure every child has success."
• Use a non‑competitive approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress‑free environment."
• Use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success."
• Be open‑minded, trust coaching is a continuous journey, and be open to feedback by attending regular trainings and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual."

Qualifications

• "
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation."
• The more you are able and willing to travel, the more work you will have."
• We have locations all across Long Island."
• Passion for sports/fitness and for working with young children, especially ages 1‑5."
• Background in fitness is a plus (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.)."
• Background working with children is a plus (camp counselor, elementary education substitute teacher, coach, etc.)."
• Must be at least 18 years of age."
• Must be able to pass a background check."
