<h3>What the job is about</h3>
<p>As a Technical / Application Architect, you will play a key role in designing and overseeing the architecture of complex software applications. You will ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. This position requires technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to guide development teams and stakeholders.</p>
<h3>Your responsibilities will include</h3>
<ul>
<li>Designing application architecture that meets functional and non‑functional requirements</li>
<li>Collecting and clarifying non‑functional requirements by working with relevant stakeholders</li>
<li>Collaborating with product owners, business analysts and developers to translate business needs into technical solutions</li>
<li>Reviewing and validating technical designs to ensure compliance with architectural principles</li>
<li>Leading technical discussions and providing guidance on system integration, performance and security</li>
<li>Documenting and maintaining architecture decisions using ADRs and architectural diagrams to ensure transparency and traceability</li>
<li>Defining technology standards, frameworks and best practices for development teams</li>
<li>Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending adoption where appropriate</li>
</ul>
<h3>Your interests and skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>Strong expertise in software architecture principles and design patterns</li>
<li>Expertise in modeling techniques (C4, sequence diagrams, information models…)</li>
<li>Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices and integration strategies</li>
<li>Experience in Domain‑Driven Design is a plus</li>
<li>Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)</li>
<li>Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL or Postgres), optional NoSQL databases and other structures (e.g., file‑based JSON)</li>
<li>Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java 21…) and frameworks (e.g., JavaEE, Quarkus)</li>
<li>Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards</li>
<li>Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to think strategically</li>
<li>Passion for technology trends and continuous learning</li>
</ul>
