As a Financial Accountant, you will support our client's Belgian operations, overseeing management accounting, month-end and year-end closing, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and external audits. The role offers the opportunity to work in an international, fast-growing pharmaceutical environment, based in Walloon Brabant with a hybrid working model.

Description
- Supporting external audits and acting as the key contact for auditors.
- Preparing audit schedules and year-end statutory accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, or other statutory reporting requirements.
- Coordinating audit timelines and resolving audit queries efficiently.
- Performing month end for all aspects of the management accounts
- Ensuring financial processing and authorisation procedures are applied in accordance with approved procedures
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements for relevant entity in accordance with Local Accounting Standards
- Preparing tax related declarations e.g. VAT, Intrastat and Corporate tax
- Supporting initiatives to obtain tax subsidies
