Are you an engineer with a passion for structural design and technical analysis? Join a team delivering large-scale infrastructure projects focused on the design of new transmission towers and the modification of existing steel structures.

Your Role

As a Junior Engineer, you will:

  • Design new steel towers and develop modifications to existing structures.
  • Perform specialized structural calculations and manage engineering study schedules.
  • Guide designers and engineering partners in developing calculation and 3D models.
  • Prepare technical tender documentation and support procurement activities.
  • Participate in factory acceptance and testing of manufactured structures.
  • Provide technical support during project execution and construction preparation.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor quality standards, perform inspections, and prepare technical reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement of calculation methods and engineering tools.
  • Contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects involving high-voltage tower structures.

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in technical engineering studies and structural analysis.
  • Experience with steel structure design.
  • Familiar with engineering software, 3D design tools, and finite element analysis (FEA).
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, including Eurocodes.
  • Strong organizational skills and sense of ownership.
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Experience in engineering consultancy or technical expertise roles is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of MS Project, VB.NET, VBA scripting, or Fortran is a plus

Languages

  • Fluent in Dutch or French.
  • Professional written and spoken English.
