Offer Description
We invite applications for a full‑time Postdoctoral position (1 year, extendable to 2) in the Department of Psychology, KU Leuven. The work focuses on developing novel methods to study interpersonal emotion regulation using experience sampling and time‑series data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel study designs to investigate interpersonal emotion regulation patterns.
- Develop and evaluate data modelling approaches to analyse dyadic time‑series data.
- Analyse existing dyadic time‑series data to gain insights into interpersonally mediated emotion regulation.
- Prepare high‑quality scientific manuscripts and present findings at national and international meetings.
Qualifications
- PhD in Psychology, Behavioural or Cognitive Sciences, Data Science or related field.
- Strong analytical skills for time‑series data and statistical modelling.
- Proven track record of international scientific publications.
- Fluency in English and excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Interdisciplinary research perspective and familiarity with affect and emotion research from an interpersonal viewpoint is an advantage.
