In Brussels, we have our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering offices, where all our new programs begin and our workshops are equipped with modern
machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.
Mission:
Your main missionasManufacturing Engineeris to ensure the industrialization of products and implement the corresponding processes.
Responsabilities:
- Participate in the development of new products and be responsible for industrial choices: optimize part design, define production means, select manufacturing processes
- Study and improve workstations (ergonomics, layout, and safety conditions)
- Optimize and validate production for series production
- Dimension production means and cycle times, validate operational times, and, if needed, manage transfers to subcontractors ensuring success
- Participate in the execution of PFMEA (Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis)
- Propose improvements for equipment testing and validation procedures
- Analyzechanges in customer demands and their impact on manufacturing process definitions
- Analyzedeviations and propose corrective actions while ensuring compliance with costs, quality, and deadlines within your scope of responsibility
- Proactively initiate activities to reduce costs and variation through statistical process control (SPC)
- Participate in investment projects (technical innovations) to optimize manufacturing and testing processes
- Support the creation of strategic roadmaps by proposing and justifying capital investments (machines, tooling, calibration, factory)
- Prepare quotations for new project tenders
- Ensure the proper operation of the surface treatment line through the programming, configuration and optimisation of the control systems governing production equipment.
You arealsoresponsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard
- Performing rigorous self-checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of the work
- Transferring your skills and knowledge to new team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and mutual support
- Managing confidential data and situations
- Complying with safety, health, and environmental rules
- Reporting risks and applying procedures to prevent incidents
Profile:
Education/Experience:
Education:You hold a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- You have3 to 5 yearsof experience as a manufacturing engineer, ideally in the aerospace sector.

- You demonstrate a data-driven, analytical, and solution-oriented approach
- You can prioritize tasks and manage multiple objectives simultaneously
- You show rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills
- You are able to innovate, develop, communicate (services, shop floor), and deploy processes ensuring capacity and robustness
- You work efficiently in a team and demonstrate collaboration
- You demonstrate openness and dialogue to understand your interlocutors’ challenges
- Technical:Knowledge of industrial programming and the management of automated systems controlling production equipment.
- Languages:You communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in French and/or Dutch.
- You are proficient in standard office tools (MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- You have initial experience with an ERP system (ideally SAP)
- Knowledge of CAD software (e.g. CATIA V5, SolidWorks) is an asset
