Document Management Governance Specialist

French or Dutch native speaker, good knowledge of the other national language + English required
Are you a structured, detail-oriented professional passionate about building document management systems from the ground up? We're looking for a Document Management Governance Specialist to develop, harmonize, and lead the adoption of a robust document management governance system
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure a harmonized document management governance system
- Establish and maintain standards and procedures for metadata, localisation, version control & retention
- Coordinate with IT and relevant teams to ensure system compatibility, data migration, data integrity, process efficiency & information security
- Train and support users in document management & archiving best practices, promoting adoption and correct usage
- Monitor compliance with document management policies and intervene when required
- Analyse existing processes, design new processes, identify improvement opportunities & lead initiatives to optimise document handling and information management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience setting up or harmonizing a document management governance system in a business or technical environment
- Experience with digitalisation initiatives and change management
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, able to implement structured document control procedures from scratch
- High level of stakeholder management and effective communication skills
- French or Dutch native speaker, with good knowledge of the other national language and English
