Our client based on Brussels is looking for an experienced Information Security Officer for a 1 year contract with another 1 year extension.
This is a hybird role with regular visits to client's offices in Brussels.
The purpose of the role:
Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems, data and assets, contributing to the organisation's overall security posture.
Essential skills and experience:
- Master level or equivalent by experience. Field of degree: Computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Related experience with implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 environment, penetration testing, code scanning and threat modelling
- 8-10 years of role relevant experience
- At least one relevant certification, such as CISSP, CISM or CISA.
- Knowledge of security frameworks, standards and best practices across confidentiality, integrity and availability dimensions.
- Good understanding of networking, operating systems and application security.
- Stakeholder management in international and complex environment.
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English
