Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure & Kubernetes)
For one of our clients, we are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to help build, automate, and maintain a modern Azure cloud platform. You will work closely with engineering teams to deploy scalable and secure cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and automation.
Your responsibilities
- Build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments (AKS).
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Automate operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot incidents and support production environments.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver cloud solutions.
Your profile
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Knowledge of DevOps/GitOps practices and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with cloud networking, security, monitoring, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
- Familiarity with Data Platform technologies such as Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Azure CLI.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Fluent in French and Dutch. English is a plus.
Additional information
- Hybrid working model: minimum 2 days onsite in Namur.
- Location: Namur (2 days onsite minimum) + homeworking up to 3 days/week
- Occasional travel to Brussels is required as part of the role.
- Participation in an on-call rotation after the onboarding/training period.
