We're looking for a senior Scrum Master to coach a cross-functional software delivery team and improve how it plans and delivers work. You'll support Scrum practices, remove obstacles and coordinate features with dependencies beyond the team.
What you'll do
- Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
- Coach the team towards self-organisation and continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments and protect the team from distractions.
- Support the Product Owner with Product Backlog management.
- Track capacity, velocity and Scrum adoption through clear reporting.
- Coordinate feature delivery across dependencies, risks and issues.
What you bring
- At least six years of relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge of Agile methodology and techniques, including Kanban.
- Knowledge of agile reporting and follow-up tools.
- Understanding of automated unit testing, automated functional testing and continuous integration tooling.
- Sound knowledge of software development and project management methodologies.
- Empathetic coaching, clear communication and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to guide stakeholders on effective interactions with the team.
- Willingness to contribute across disciplines to reach the sprint goal.
- Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience.
- Dutch (B2).
- French (B2).
- English (C1).
Nice to have
- Jira.
- Mainframe software development experience.
- Investment banking knowledge.
- Experience working with hybrid teams.
- Knowledge of Sprint Backlog and Definition of Done (DoD).
