KU Leuven's SOLVOMET Group invites applications for a Research Expert in upscaling and automation of solvent extraction of energy-transition metals. You will lead independent research, supervise PhD/studies, and contribute to circular hydrometallurgy through pilot-scale equipment and in-line analytics.
You will collaborate with industrial partners, coordinate EU and bilateral projects, and help build automation for pilot plants while training staff and travelling internationally as needed.
