We are looking for a Product Lead to join a strategic project in the energy sector in Belgium.

You will work in an international and multidisciplinary environment, at the heart of the challenges related to the energy transition, the evolution of energy markets, and the development of reliable, sustainable, and innovative infrastructure.

As a Product Lead, you will be responsible for a product line and play a central role in defining its vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Data teams, as well as with various internal and external stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

  • Define and continuously evolve the vision and strategy of your product line.
  • Translate the company's strategic priorities into clear product objectives and initiatives.
  • Define a roadmap based on user needs, data, and business objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities based on value, impact, and feasibility.
  • Lead key product meetings and governance sessions.
  • Promote a continuous approach to discovery, experimentation, and improvement.
  • Support product teams in solving problems and removing blockers.
  • Represent the product line to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with operational teams to understand their needs and continuously improve solutions.
  • Collaborate with other Product Leads to manage cross-product dependencies and ensure portfolio coherence.

Leadership & Governance

  • Coach and develop Product Managers and Product Owners.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and development objectives within the product team.
  • Foster a culture based on data, discovery, and measurable outcomes.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure product and team performance.
  • Ensure effective product governance throughout the product lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management

  • Lead stakeholder engagement for the products within your product line.
  • Collaborate with clients and partners to understand their needs and evolve solutions accordingly.
  • Participate in discussions with regulatory bodies at federal and regional levels.
  • Ensure alignment between product teams, operational teams, commercial stakeholders, and senior management.

Requirements

Product Management Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, ideally at Senior or Lead level.
  • Experience in the energy, utilities, or regulated infrastructure sector is a strong asset.
  • Ability to define and communicate a clear product vision and translate it into a customer-focused strategy.
  • Experience managing a product portfolio and prioritizing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and product operating models.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams including Product, Engineering, Design, and Data.

Leadership & Communication

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex environments and align different stakeholders.
  • Leadership based on influence, collaboration, and coaching.
  • Ability to develop the skills and maturity of team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-management skills.

Industry Knowledge

  • Knowledge of energy markets, grid operations, or flexibility services.
  • Experience working in regulated environments is an advantage.

Languages

  • Good level of French and/or Dutch and English.

For non-EU candidates, a valid work permit allowing them to work in Belgium and a valid residence permit confirming the right of residence in Belgium are required.
