We are seeking a Cybersecurity Technician to support a high-profile international defence and security environment in Brussels. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multinational team responsible for protecting CIS infrastructure, responding to security issues, and enhancing cybersecurity capabilities across secure networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd-line support for cybersecurity operations and security response.
- Monitor, test, verify, scan, and maintain cybersecurity capabilities across secure networks.
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and continuous security monitoring.
- Analyse security events and contribute to the improvement of security services.
- Document findings and report on the cybersecurity posture of protected environments.
- Support operational deployments and travel assignments when required.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, including experience in CIS security activities.
- Windows and Linux operating systems
- IP networking technologies and devices
- Firewalls and intrusion detection technologies
- SIEM platforms, proxies, scanning tools, and other security technologies
- Security Operations Centre (SOC) processes and procedures
- Vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Log analysis and security event correlation
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to identify and investigate network
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Knowledge of NATO security policies and directives.
- Experience working in multinational environments.
- Familiarity with NATO structures and procedures.
- Experience in threat actor profiling, data fusion, source verification, and intelligence analysis techniques.
Mandatory Requirement
Active NATO Clearance is essential for this position and supported for candidates in Portugal
